Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CatchBoard.ai (“the Service”), operated by Alga Ventures LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CatchBoard is a B2B lead intelligence platform that provides verified contact data for seafood industry companies. The Service includes a searchable directory, AI-enriched company data, and industry news aggregation. Access to certain features depends on your subscription tier.

3. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. All plans include a 7-day free trial. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of payment. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes. Specifically, you shall NOT:

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense CatchBoard data to third parties
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
• Use contact data for spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or any purpose that violates CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or other applicable laws
• Attempt to circumvent access controls or subscription tier limitations
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users on a single account
• Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm any individual

6. Data and Intellectual Property

All data, content, and intellectual property in the Service belongs to Alga Ventures LLC. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the data for your internal business purposes only. This license terminates when your subscription ends.

7. Data Accuracy

While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data in the Service. Contact information may change without notice. We recommend verifying critical data points before making business decisions based on them.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALGA VENTURES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
